Do you find eyebrow makeup with brow powders difficult? It depends, of course, on what kind of brow powders you have, whether their quality is good enough to let you easily create beautiful and defined brow makeup, or maybe your brow powders are mediocre, lack pigmentation, and don’t transfer well onto eyebrows, apply poorly, and don’t provide you with nice effects…
In my daily eyebrow makeup routine, I use Nanobrow’s powder palette, and of course, I use both powders because it would be a shame not to take advantage of the fact that you have a choice of two shades – it provides a lovely effect. Before I start filling in my eyebrows, I also reach for a brow pencil and define the bottom brow line with it, because in my case it is barely visible and I want it to be more defined. Then I fill in the inner brow edge with a lighter shade about up to 2/3 of the length of the entire eyebrow and then I fill in the tail with a darker powder. Where the two powders meet, I try to blend them gently so that the colors mix. I really like such a gradient of color, from the lighter to the darker shade, as this gives a very nice natural ombre effect.
Should I use one powder or both in my brow makeup?
As I mentioned, I use both powders for my eyebrows from the Nanobrow palette, but of course, if you are just starting your adventure with brow powders and are a little afraid of combining both shades, you can also use one powder if you feel like it. But then keep in mind to fill in the inner brow edge with a lighter shade and apply the darker one on the tail.
