However, as time passed, I found out that not all products are equal. For this reason, I decided to go on a search for the perfect mascara! Are you curious which product has earned this title?
The perfect mascara – what should it feature?
All of you may have a different definition of the perfect mascara. However, we must agree that it should be:
- long-wearing;
- efficient;
- giving spectacular results.
Often, drugstore products didn’t work for me. The problem of mascara flaking or smudging has ruined my makeup many times. I know that many women are still looking for a mascara that allows them to feel confident and comfortable all day long.
That’s why I’ve selected 4 products that I’ve tested on my lashes and that have worked for me. Thanks to them, I no longer worry about whether I get the “panda eyes effect” or sticky lashes that repel instead of drawing attention!

Makeup products are not the cheapest, especially when it comes to good mascara. I tested a lot of products until finally, I can say that 4 of them were my best investments.
1. Nanolash Mascara
The first place goes to the Nanolash mascara. I can confidently claim this product is premium and simply excellent. Objectively speaking, no other mascara has worked as well as the one from Nanolash.
There are two versions of the mascara to choose from:
- Nanolash Length & Curl Mascara – a lengthening and curling mascara;
- Nanolash Volume Up Mascara – a thickening mascara.
I consider this a huge advantage, as each of you can choose a product tailored to your individual needs. I opted for Nanolash Volume Up Mascara as I wanted to thicken my lashes spectacularly.
The first application was already a huge success. Thanks to the perfectly shaped silicone brush, I was able to coat all the lashes evenly – even the shortest ones. They were separated well and gained extra volume.
After a full day, the mascara continued to look good. I didn’t notice that it started to wear off or smudge unsightly on the eyelid. In a word, I can recommend this product to all of you!
2. Lashcode Mascara
In the next place, I placed Lashcode Mascara. This is also one of the best mascaras I do not regret buying. It is a lengthening and thickening product that has actually transformed my thin lashes.
The brush in Lashcode Mascara is similar to that in Nanolash Mascara. The great shape makes it easy to apply and prevents the lashes from sticking together. The mascara doesn’t smudge and doesn’t create clumps.
3. Guerlain Maxi Lash So Volume
Guerlain Maxi Lash So Volume is also a mascara that somewhat fits my expectations. I didn’t regret buying it, although I certainly won’t take it on a winter trip. When exposed to moisture, it starts to smudge on the eyelids.
The brush is quite well-shaped, but its size is a bit larger than that of Nanolash mascara. So application required a bit of patience. If Maxi Lash So Volume is not exposed to moisture, then it can safely last all day.
4. Isadora Flashing Volume Mascara
Isadora Flashing Volume Mascara is also an interesting option. This mascara has found its place in my makeup bag, however, I’m not quite sure if I will use it again. Certainly, after the first application, I could see that it lengthened the lashes and gave them a nice curl. However, I had to apply two coats of the product, which reduced its efficiency.
The mascara dries quickly, which is a plus. However, the brush is extremely short and made it quite difficult for me to apply the product. By the end of the day, the mascara started to wear off slightly and the lashes no longer looked that good.
Which mascara was the best investment in my opinion?
I have presented 4 products I do not regret buying. However, if I had to choose a mascara that, in my opinion, was the best investment, it would undoubtedly be Nanolash mascara.
This is a product that met my expectations both in terms of quality and durability. Moreover, my eyelashes looked really defined and elegant.
From experience, I know that mascara must adapt to individual preferences. For this reason, I would like to stress that what worked for me may not necessarily work for you. So think carefully before making your choice. Mascara should bring out your beauty and the full potential of your eyes. The better you choose it, the better results you will be able to achieve!
